The 2nd Multiplier Event of the Smart-Edu4.0 Project was organized by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) on April 25th 2023. The project partners had the chance to present the results of the project to academics and industry partners and received valuable feedback from them regarding the state-of-the art programs in Manufacturing Mechatronics.
Professor Symeon Papavassiliou opened the event and presented the research areas of the NTUA team (NETMODE) involved in the project. Dr Athina Thanou from the NTUA gave a brief introduction to the project and right after the coordinator of the project, professor Wasif Naeem from the Queen’s University of Belfast presented the Smart-Edu4.0 project. Dr Eoin Hinchy from the University of Limerick (UL) talked about the courses in Mechatronics that are offered in UL and were developed within the project. Darren Anderson from the South Eastern Regional College (SERC) demonstrated Upskilling courses and Industrial training pathways and finally Dr Nikos Voudoukis from the NTUA illustrated the course on Sustainability that was developed for the needs of the project.
